Carson Terms and Conditions
All business is transacted in accordance with Standard Trading Conditions of the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA), copies available upon request. Rates are based upon carriers tariffs and therefore subject to change without notice.
Hazardous, dangerous, oversized cargo requiring specialized handling, COD’s, and personal effects are subject to acceptance only and will be subject to surcharges. Rates do not include fuel surcharges or security fees unless otherwise noted. Rate basis will be metric subject to weight cargo surcharges where applicable.
Standard Trading Conditions may contain clauses which may limit or exclude our liability, it is highly recommended that you secure transit insurance, via your own means or should you wish our assistance.
Use of our services is regarded as acceptance of these rates. All shipments inspected by Canadian governmental agencies are subject to inspection and exam fees. Carson International will not be held liable for any storage charges caused by payment delays or non-surrender of proper documentation.
Carson International will not be held liable for any extra charges incurred due to the use by either importer or exporter of improper wood packaging. Please contact our offices should you require further information on ISPM world standards.
